Today is Star Wars Day. The only celebration, at least to my knowledge, based around a dad joke.
Dad jokes are good though. What would a dad be with out being able to make us groan at a silly joke. Sometimes the funnest part is when you know something silly is coming but you can’t quite see where he’s going to go with it. So yes: May the Fourth Be with You.
I saw Rogue One back in, I think it was, January. 
It was a worthy addition to the Star Wars universe. It had its problems certainly – but it was enjoyable. I think the biggest disappointment to me was no opening text crawl – and when thinking about it afterwards I couldn’t even tell you the names of the characters.
If there is a battle between Rogue One and The Force Awakens my vote goes to the latter. That film had issues too but I warmed more to Rey than I did to Jyn. My major issue with The Force Awakens was bringing in yet another planet busting weapon. I hope The Last Jedi does something new.
