The sun set over the horizon but Norman saw only an orange blur. He closed his eyes and tried to remember another sunset. He wished he had really looked. But how could he have known?
Anna stood before him. Soon he wouldn’t be able to see her. She smiled and he was unsure that she was real – but angels probably didn’t wear white bikinis. She sat in front of him, legs crossed. They held hands and looked into each other’s eyes. He tried to burn her beautiful image into his mind for when he couldn’t see her any more.
