At work I use a till. Sometimes the till doesn’t work properly – and yes sometimes I am making a mistake with it.
There have been times when I knew the price of something but couldn’t put it through because I can’t find the right button. And of course, as with an computer, it occupationally crashes.
Fortunately when this happens the customers have been very understanding but it still sometimes makes me wish for simplicity.
I’m not about to give up on technology and go and live in a hut in the woods – but I do like the simplicity of a piece of paper. And in the case of work a calculator as I can’t do the maths thing.
I have several apps for my never ending and obsessive to-do list and it just leads to more stress. An app will be a constant reminder of what I haven’t done. So we have paper…
I have switched to mostly using paper for my to-do list. This is advantageous as paper doesn’t beep at me when I deiced that I want to do something else. And after posting this I can put a satisfying tally mark next to writing!

I just wanted to say that I have checked this post. I really have. Unfortunately my particular combination of dyslexia and dyspraxia makes it really hard for me to spot typos. Please enjoy and I’ll try not to make too many errors.
